2 escaped prisoners still sought in Berks County

WERNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Police are still searching for two prisoners who escaped from a correctional facility in eastern Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Authorities say the men left the Wernersville Community Correction Center around 4:45 p.m. Saturday after someone pulled a fire alarm to create a distraction. Now, police are searching for the pair, identified as 26-year-old Shaun Patrick Kubacki and 25-year-old Oscar Tim Robinson.

Warrants have been issued for their arrest.

Kubacki had been incarcerated on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His last known address is in Reading. Robinson had been in custody on charges of giving false identification to law enforcement. His last known address is in Harrisburg.
