Scrappers fail to score, drop game two


The Scrappers have yet to produce a run and fall in game two, 3-0, to the Jamestown Jammers.

The Jammers plated two runs in the 5th inning on a home run by Jin-De Jhang and an error by the Scrappers. Jamestown scored again in the 6th inning on a wild pitch.

Caleb Hamrick recorded the loss for Mahoning Valley. He went five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits. He also struck out five batters. Colten Brewer got the win for the Jammers, giving up no runs on five hits with two strikeouts.

The Scrappers and Jammers wrap up their series on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. at Eastwood Field.
