WRAP adjusts bylaws

The Warren Redevelopment and Planning Corporation voted to streamline its board during a meeting Tuesday morning.

The non-profit organization was formed in 1980 to assist with the city’s economic development efforts. Executive Director Anthony Iannucci said they needed to update their bylaws to keep up with the changing needs of the organization.

“The board was originally made up of 25 members years ago when we were doing SBA loans, and that was a requirement to have 25, “ said Executive Director Anthony Iannucci. “That is a cumbersome number, so the board decided to reduce that to nine.”

The board members have not been selected yet. An election will take place in October.
