Police: W. Pa woman runs over rival

MT. PLEASANT, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania woman has been arrested after she allegedly ran over her boyfriend’s other girlfriend.

Police say 28-year-old Danielle Falcon of Everson ran over the other young woman Tuesday evening in East Huntingdon Township. That’s about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

Authorities say Falcon was angry because her boyfriend told her he was going to his mother’s house, but he went to pick up the other woman instead. Falcon allegedly followed the car and became overcome with emotion when she saw Katelin Hiltabidel.

Police say Falcon tried to help Hiltabidel after running her over. Hiltabidel suffered compound fractures in both legs.

Falcon is being held in Westmoreland County Jail, unable to post $50,000 bond. No attorney was listed on court papers.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 26.
