1 injured in Columbiana crash

An accident caused a traffic headache for commuters in Columbiana Thursday.

Two vehicles collided around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of state Route 7 and Heck Road.

According to police, one of the vehicles failed to stop at the stop sign and crashed into the other.

One person suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

The Ohio State Highway patrol is investigating.
