Mahoning County wins Jack Arvin Classic

Ten weeks from tonight, the 2013 high school football regular season kicks off. In the mean time, graduating senior standouts from last season got one final chance to play on the high school gridiron in the MVCA Jack Arvin Classic.

Mahoning County took top honors, winning 36-30 over Trumbull County.

Fitch’s Matt Futkos (Mahoning) and Howland’s Eric Lockney (Trumbull) were named their team’s MVPs.
