A Warren man is facing attempted murder charges in connection with a woman falling from a window.

Shawn Synuria, 41, was arrested Friday and is being held with bond after he allegedly pushed Sherri Smith, 22, from an attic window of a Porter Street N.E. house last October.

A hearing scheduled for Thursday was postponed to Monday so Smith could testify.

Smith was paralyzed from the fall and has been confined to a nursing home.
