Teen shot in Cincinnati dies; Kentucky man charged

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities say a 15-year-old Kentucky boy has died after being shot in downtown Cincinnati just as fans were leaving a Reds baseball game nearby.

Police say D’Maris Glover of Covington, Ky., died Thursday. He and two other victims had been shot Wednesday night at a bridge connecting downtown Cincinnati with northern Kentucky.

Court records show 21-year-old Joe Wright of Dayton, Ky., was initially charged with three felony assault counts. Police say they expect additional charges after Glover’s death.

Police have said Glover was shot with two other people while riding in a vehicle. Authorities said the other victims are expected to recover.

Wright’s attorney did not immediately return a call to his office Friday.
