Kids and parents prep for kindergarden in Mill Creek Park

Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park hosted a kindergarden preparation for kids and parents alike.

Kids that will be starting kindergarten in the Fall were invited to have some fun, while their parents got some much needed information.

Local educators offered info on children’s health, nutrition and child development.

“Everybody’s here just to offer support and guidance to families who may have some difficult transition times fro children we we just want to be here as a resouirce and we want to give them activities for the summer so they can homeand have fun and see what’s on our community,” said Head Start deputy director Camille Stanford.

The event was run by the Mahoning County Early Childhood Partners Committee.
