Man accidentally shot

A Warren man was hospitalized during the weekend after he was accidentally shot.

Reports said a 29-year-old man told police he was with several other people at about 7 p.m. Saturday when someone who accidentally shot him at a home in the 2400 block of Kenwood Dr. S.W.

The man told police he was unsure who was holding the .38-caliber semiautomatic handgun when it discharged. He was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where reports said he was stabilized.

He was then flown via emergency helicopter to Cleveland MetroHealth hospital.
