Slow end to race in Lowellville

The 92nd Annual Turtle Derby was held in Lowellville Monday night.

Turtles may not be the fastest creatures but they are fun to watch in a race.

The Lion’s Club annual Turtle Derby was held in downtown Lowellville Monday night.

Contestants would pound on the race course to get their turtle to move along. This was the 92nd year for the Turtle Derby.

The Lion’s Club was hoping to raise $30,000 from the race and a car show.
