Scrappers score early, beat Auburn


The Scrappers plated one run in the 1st and three runs in the 2nd inning to beat Auburn, 4-1, on Tuesday night.

Claudio Bautista scored in the first on an RBI single by James Roberts. In the 4th inning, Bautista doubled in Brian Ruiz and Sicnarf Loopstok, making it 3-0. Then, Bautista scored on a Nellie Rodriguez single.

The Doubledays scored their only run in the 8th inning.

The Scrappers (4-5) open a two-game series with State College on Wednesday.
