Weathersfield woman burglarized

A Weathersfield woman told police she awoke Tuesday to find one man standing over her and another burglarizing her home.

Sheriff’s deputies apprehended one man believed to be involved in the crime later in the day. Reports said deputies arrested Maliek Cobb, 20, who they found in Café 422’s parking lot with several items stolen from the woman’s Grandview Avenue home.

Reports say after the man left her bedroom, he met another man wearing a hooded sweatshirt outside and they walked into the woods.

Deputies say they saw two men on bikes in the parking lot and one fled, leaving Cobb.
