Two runs enough for Scrappers victory

The Scrappers hold State College scoreless and plate runs in the 4th and 8th innings to win, 2-0, on Thursday night.

Manuel Boscan drove in Juan Herrera in the 4th inning giving the Scrappers a 1-0 lead. The game remained 1-0 until the 8th inning when Claudio Bautista homered, capping the Scrappers 2-0 victory.

Mahoning Valley (5-6) travels to Williamsport to begin a three game series on Friday.
