Six people have been arrested and police are searching for a seventh suspect after a drug roundup in Mercer County.

The Mercer County Drug Task Force started the sweep at 7 a.m. Friday throughout the county, but an official with the drug task force said most of the arrests were made in Sharon and Hermitage.

More than two dozen officers participated in the roundup, during which cocaine, heroin, prescription drugs and cash were seized. Police said the arrests were made after months of investigation that included undercover drug buys.
