Independence Day parade makes its way through Niles

Families lined the streets in downtown Niles on Sunday for a 4th of July parade.

City leaders marched along with local school bands, some even throwing candy to eager children waiting patiently in the crowds.

Participants said it’s their honor to remember all the men and women who served this country.
