Some Valley residents celebrated Independence Day a little early this year.

The 14th annual Lansingville 4th of July parade on Sunday wove it’s way through Youngstown’s South Side.

Organizers said the event shows their neighborhood’s spirit of patriotism and love of the United States.

The parade is sponsored by the Lansingville Block Watch.
