An Amber Alert was issued Monday for an 8-year-old boy who was allegedly taken by his non-custodial father.

Kevin Criss Jr. was found with his father in Huron, about 10 miles east of Sandusky. The child was unharmed.

He was last seen Sunday at 4 p.m. on West Boulevard in Cleveland. Officers found the boy with his father, Kevin Criss, 34, who authorities considered dangerous.

Kevin Criss Sr. was arrested when found, authorities said.

Police said they believe the two were headed towards California.
