Bounce hits Valley airwaves

Bounce TV is now airing in Youngstown. The first African-American broadcast channel can be seen on 33.3 or on the Armstrong Cable Digital tier.

The Marietta, Ga. Based network is now reaching viewers across the country, including here in Youngstown.

“At Bounce, we focus on programming that African-Americans want to see but can’t see because most networks won’t play African-American movies from the 70s, 80s, and 90s,” said Billy Hall, vice president of programming.

Bounce also offers game shows, a reality series and sitcoms. Some popular shows and movies airing on the channel include “The Newlywed Game,” “Shaft,” “Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids,” and “Ghosts of the Mississippi.”
