Man charged with following woman

A Warren man is being held in the Trumbull County Jail, accused of holding a woman at gunpoint in Weathersfield.

Simpatico Dorsey Jr., 21, of Jefferson St. S.W., entered no plea Friday on felonious assault charges and pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest Friday during his Niles Municipal Court appearance.

Bond was set at $50,000.

Police said they were called at about 12:30 a.m. to the parking lot of Carl’s Paving on Columbus Avenue. There, they found Dorsey and a woman who claims Dorsey followed her and pulled a gun on her.
