Fifth Annual Rib Festival held at Mastropiétro Winery

Three vendors kept busy on their grills dishing out their signature meats at the fifth annual Rib Fest at Mastropiétro Winery in Berlin Center.

Smothered and covered in sauce and seasonings, that’s what makes a good rib.

On Saturday, Mastropiétro Winery hosted its fifth annual Rib Fest.

Guy’s BBQ, Drunkin’ Moose and Rachel’s grilled up their signature dishes.

“We do a signature sandwich, said Dante DiRienzo, Drunkin’ Moose. “It’s a third pound burger, it’s pulled pork, onion rings and breaded hot pepper rings.”

“We have ribs, we have our famous sliced pork, we have chicken, we have baked beans, potato salad,” said Guy Hughes, Guy’s BBQ.

“It’s a barbeque, you got to have beef, you got to have pork, you got to have chicken, so we have all three,” said Terry Bucklew, Rachel’s Bar and Grill.

The winery said it has events like this so customers have another activity on a Saturday night

The event also included live music from two bands.

There was no cost to come to the winery and listen to music. People just paid for whatever they ate or drank.
