One person has died after a two vehicle crash Saturday morning in Columbiana County.

It happened just after 10:30 a.m. on state Route 170, just south of state Route 154 in Middleton Township.

Troopers with the Lisbon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said an SUV was traveling northbound on Route 170, when it went off the road, hit a guard rail and crossed the center line.

The SUV then struck a Chevy Silverado heading south on Route 170.

The front seat passenger in the SUV, Jacqueline Werling of East Liverpool, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol was not a cause and the crash is under investigation.
