The Arms Family Museum in Youngstown wrapped up its military appreciation week Sunday.

Families were invited to come to the museum free of charge.

Families also got to check out a new display, showcasing military uniforms. There were also arts and crafts to keep kids entertained.

“We’re going back to World War I with our first uniform through World War II and into Vietnam and all the way up into today,” said Curator of Education Traci Manning.

Manning said more than 100 military personnel and their families attended throughout the holiday weekend.

The museum plans to host the event again next year.
