Police are searching for a Punxsutawney man who left a Sharon halfway house on a weekend and never returned.

Pennsylvania State Police filed escape charges against David Lee Barnett, 35, after he never returned from a weekend furlough to the Sharon Community Corrections Center.

Barnett’s criminal history, according to a search of court records, includes a drunk driving and weapons offense in 2010, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in 2004 and drunk driving and marijuana possession in 2003.

PSP in Mercer County is asking anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts call 724-662-6162.
