Youngstown State University’s Summer Festival of the Arts is celebrating its 15th year this weekend at various locations on and around the YSU campus.

One of the highlights of the annual festival is the juried Artists’ Marketplace, which draws local, regional and national artists who create original, hand-crafted jewelry, paintings, sketches, sculptures, toys, music and clothing. Many of the artists also give demonstrations during the event.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

There will be live performances by the Burke School of Irish Dance, the Chardon Polka Band, the Anthony Kunovic Quintet, Troupe Shabaana, the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, County Mayo, J.D. Eicher and the Goodnights, the Harambee Dance Troupe and ballroom dancing demonstrations.
