Struthers boy killed by SUV identified


The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the Struthers boy struck and killed by an SUV on Monday evening as 22-month-old Adan Dorman.

Mahoning County Deputy Coroner said Adan died of multiple head injuries within seconds of being struck by a Dodge Durango as it backed out of a driveway on Euclid Avenue, where the boy was playing. The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m.

Police said they do not expect to file charges against the driver. The accident is being investigated by Struthers Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
