A crash Thursday in Struthers night sent one man to the hospital.

The driver went over the cliff at about 8 p.m. on Faith Street into the Yellow Creek area by Wetmore Drive. Fire crews were able to get the man out of the vehicle safely.

Rescue crews said he has non-life threatening injuries. A neighbor on Faith Street said the man first drove his car into his truck then got out of the car and into his van, before driving it over the cliff.

The incident still is under investigation, but it appears the man drove over the cliff on purpose.
