2 injured in motorcycle crash

Two people were taken to the hospital after two motorcycles collided in Howland Township.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of North Road and Crestview Avenue.

Police said the motorcycles collided as one was trying to turn left onto Crestview Avenue.

Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren was taken to St. Joseph Health Center and is in critical condition. He was later transferred to St. Elizabeth Health Center. The other rider, David Robinson of Williamsport, Pa. was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
