SPRING HOUSE, Pa. (AP) — A man suspected of stealing thousands of dollars in gifts from a suburban Philadelphia wedding reception has turned himself in.

Police say Franzone who was caught on camera stealing $3,000 to $5,000 in wedding gifts from a reception Sunday night at the William Penn Inn in Lower Gwynedd Township.

Authorities allege Franzone staked out the reception for several hours.

They say surveillance video shows a family member of the bride and groom loading their car with gifts. Police allege when the relative went back inside, Franzone went into the car and took the gifts.

Franzone’s lawyer says his client is addicted to drugs.
