New YSU president to take office this week

Youngstown State University’s eighth president will officially take the reigns Monday.

Randy Dunn plans to talk with the media, including a meet and greet Monday afternoon, drop in on summer classes at the university and meet with other school officials.

Dunn takes over for former President Cynthia Anderson who retired at the end of June.

Dunn previously served as president of Kentucky’s Murray State University for six years.
