The 118th Annual Lowellville Mount Carmel Society Celebration kicked off on Tuesday.

High Mass, which was in Italian and English, was celebrated Tuesday morning at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, with Youngstown Bishop George Murry presiding. Parishioners and others marched to the church.

The festival starts on Wednesday and runs through Saturday.
