Ohio man investigated for wife’s death

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man with a history of domestic violence is under investigation for his wife’s death after police say he beat her and then crashed their car.

The Akron Beacon Journal (http://bit.ly/1apF2Pr ) reports 28-year-old Robert Howard Tucker III is accused of abducting his wife at gunpoint Saturday. Police say he hit her multiple times in the face and tried to shove her inside the trunk of his car. He then drove off with her.

Police say the car crashed into a tree, and Tucker punched his wife in the head again.

Tucker’s wife, 26-year-old, Kyndall Tucker, was critically injured and trapped in the car when authorities arrived. The man was arrested at the scene.

The newspaper reports records show at least five previous domestic violence arrests for the man.
