17-year-old Ohio boy dies after being shot in back

CLEVELAND (AP) — A 17-year-old Cleveland boy has been fatally shot in the back.

The Plain Dealer in Cleveland reports (http://bit.ly/15v7gVP) that police were called to the scene Friday evening and found 17-year-old Tyrus Spraggins bleeding from a gunshot wound to the back.

Paramedics took him to a local hospital, where he died.

Witnesses told officers that the teen was being chased and shot at by two young men who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Police had no further information and are still investigating.
