Police in Youngstown responded to a stabbing Saturday evening.

Officers were called to Kendis Circle on the city’s East Side around 10:15 p.m.

According to police reports, a Youngstown woman advised her boyfriend, 32-year old Jorge Luis Rivera Bernabe, to leave her residence on Kendis Circle several times but he refused to.

Two other women in the house at the time tried to get him to leave when he pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the women in the chest, another in the left eye and the third in the groin area before fleeing.

Bernabe, who also lives on Kendis Circle, could face charges of felonious assault.

He has not been arrested.

The women suffered non-life threatening injuries.
