Teen hit while riding bike

A Hubbard teen was hit by a car while riding his bike Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of  South Main Street and East Liberty Street in Hubbard.

Police said the 16-year-old was riding in the crosswalk when a 38-year-old Sharpsville woman struck the cyclists while turning onto Liberty Street.

The teen was taken to Northside Hospital with minor injuries.

Hubbard police are investigating. No citations have been issued as of yet.
