It was a deadly day on the roads of Columbiana County as troopers with the Lisbon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating a pair of fatal crashes.
Just after 11 a.m. Sunday, a Ford Taurus driven by 55-year-old Daniel Cheezan Jr. of Canton, went off the roadway and hit a tree, before flipping over and coming to rest.
This happened on US Route 30, just east of milepost seven in Hanover Township.
Cheezan was pronounced dead at Alliance Community Hospital after being transported from the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
