One man was flown to the hospital Saturday following a motorcycle accident in Lowellville.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 48-year old Dennis Timms failed to negotiate a bend on State Route 289, nine miles from the state line.

He was thrown from the bike and the motorcycle came to rest on the railroad tracks nearby.

He was flown via emergency helicopter to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center and his current condition is unavailable.
