A former little league football coach in Niles was secretly indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury on sex charges involving a young girl.

James Ingles, 42, of Niles, was arraigned Monday on two counts of gross sexual imposition.

According to the indictment, Ingles is accused of having sexual contact with a 9-year-old girl in February.

Ingles served as an assistant coach for the Niles Little Red Dragons. A spokesperson for the organization said Ingles passed a background check but was terminated from the organization the day he was arrested last week by U.S. Marshals.

Ingles posted bond and is out of jail awaiting his next court date.
