Futures mixed after McDonald’s has rough quarter

NEW YORK (AP) — Stock futures are mixed with a poor quarter from McDonald’s sending Dow Jones futures lower.

Dow Jones industrial futures are down 9 points to 15,497. S&P futures have lost 0.20 points to 1,689.30. Nasdaq futures are up 4.75 points to 3,045.50.

A big week for corporate earnings began Monday with Hasbro, in addition to McDonald’s, falling short of Wall Street expectations. After a big nod from the TV academy with nine Emmy nominations, Netflix will post earnings after the bell.

McDonald’s says economic uncertainty for its customers weighed on results it warned of a tough year ahead. Company shares slid more than 2 percent before the opening bell.

The National Association of Realtors is expected to report later Monday that sales of previously occupied homes rose last month
