Local baby shares royal birth

As the world awaited the much-anticipated birth of the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Princess Kate, the Valley’s own royal baby was born.

Levi David Dobbins of New Waterford was born at St. Elizabeth Health Center exactly a half hour before the new prince of Cambridge.

Mother Ashley Dobbins said even though she thinks the coverage was a little overdone, she’s happy there’s some good news for a change.

“I think it’ll be fun to tell him about it later on when he gets a little bit older,” said Dobbins. “That somebody so famous they’ll share a birthday.”

This is the third child for the Dobbins family.
