A 32-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of stabbing three women during an argument on Youngstown’s East Side.
Jorge Rivera Bernabe, 32, of Kendis Circle, was booked Monday into the Mahoning County Jail on felonious assault charges.
Detectives are interviewing people involved in the stabbing.
Rivera, reports say, stabbed three women, 54, 34 and 28, at about 10 p.m. Saturday. All were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in stable condition, reports say.
Reports say Bernabe came to the 34-year-old woman’s apartment in the 200 block of Kendis Circle and argued with the women because he refused to leave.
The three women told police they tried to get him to leave when he cut the 34-year-old woman on the left side of the chest and on her left elbow. The trio then pushed Bernabe to the ground in the hallway.
While on the ground, Bernabe swung the knife and stabbed the 54-year-old woman in the groin area, report say. Bernabe got up and swing the knife again, stabbing the 28-year-old woman in the eye.
The women told police he fled.
