Covelli supports ‘Shop with a Cop’

Covelli check presentation

Covelli Enterprises celebrated the grand opening of their new Dairy Queen Grill and Chill by making a donation to help area children.

A $1,000 donation was given to the Niles Fraternal Order of Police on Wednesday. The money will help fund the Shop with a Cop program where officers take area children in need shopping for Christmas gifts.

The check presentation took place the new DQ at the Eastwood Mall Complex.

“It’s really nice. It all goes back into the community. Mr. and Mrs. Covelli have been wonderful,” said Capt. Ken Criswell. “Every time they open something, a Panera, O’Charley’s or whatever, they give a donation. The Eastwood Mall and the Cafaros have been very good with us. We have a working relationship with them as well.”

The new Niles DQ is the ninth location owned by Covelli Enterprises.
