Grant will help mobile home park

St. Clair Township will receive a $160,000 grant from the state to improve a water system in a mobile home park.

The project will install 3,700 linear feet of waterline and benefit 20 households at the Shadybrook Mobile Home Park.

The Community Development Block grant will be coupled with $172,000 from other funding sources.

“Efficient and safe water systems are integral to providing a strong quality of life for Ohioans,” David Goodman, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency, said in a statement. “Reliable and upgraded infrastructure also better positions our communities for economic development.”
