A Warren man has died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren, died Monday, according to his obituary notice. The accident happened about 10 p.m. July 11 on North Road at Crestview Avenue in Howland Township.

The Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Cost was riding his 2001 Big Dog motorcycle south on North Road when he struck David Robinson, 50, of Williamsport, Pa., who was riding his 2007 Harley Davidson northbound on North Road.

The patrol said Robinson failed to yield when turning  left onto Crestview and was struck by Cost. Both men were ejected from their bikes and neither was wearing a helmet.

The accident is under investigation.
