A man from Slippery Rock in Butler County, Pa., was pulled from the waters of Lake Erie Wednesday morning after having trouble with the high waves in the lake.
Ralph Miller, 66, was swimming with his grandchildren about 10 a.m. at Sara’s Campground at Presque Isle. Two volunteer firefighters from New York who were staying at the campground brought Miller out of the water.
He was taken to an Erie hospital, where he is in critical condition.
