Medical examiner IDs third victim in Ohio slayings

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) — The medical examiner’s office says it has confirmed the identity of the third body found wrapped in a trash bag in a dilapidated northeast Ohio neighborhood.

The Cuyahoga (KY-uh-HOH’-guh) County Medical Examiner said Wednesday that the body — found Friday in a garage in East Cleveland — was that of 18-year-old Shirellda Helen Terry. The teen’s grandmother had confirmed her identity for The Associated Press on Tuesday night.

The medical examiner said the body was identified using dental records. The cause of death for Terry and the other two victims haven’t been made public.

The other victims have been identified as 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley and 38-year-old Angela Deskins.

Thirty-five-year-old Michael Madison is in custody facing preliminary charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the slayings.
