1 injured in Youngstown crash

A man was injured after crashing the car he was driving on Youngstown’s South Side.

The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m.Thursday at the intersection of Pine Hollow Drive and Powers Way.

Police said the driver lost control, drove off the right side of the road and then crossed back into traffic before crashing into a boulder.

The car caught fire, but the man was able to get out of the vehicle safely. He taken to the hospital as a precaution.
