Friends and family gathered Sunday night to remember the life of Boardman grad, 19-year-old Daniel Watkins.

The group met at Boardman High School to light candles and observe a moment of silence.

Watkins was shot and killed Thursday night in Youngstown, as he sat in his car outside a home on Loveland Road.

Police continue to interview witnesses, but no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

Calling hours for Watkins will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Davis-Becker Funeral Home on Market Street.

His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m.
