The 39-year-old man who was shot Saturday on Youngstown’s East Side has died.

William McClain, 39, died sometime overnight, detectives said.

McClain was shot at about 11 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of East High Avenue and North Truesdale Avenue. McClain was found in the street.

An SUV near McClain parked sideways on the street had several bullet holes shot into the side.

Reports said several shell casings were found on the street.

It’s Youngstown’s 11th homicide of 2013.
