Autopsy shows Pa. man, 76, was stabbed 70 times

GREENVILLE, Pa. (AP) — An autopsy has revealed that a 76-year-old western Pennsylvania businessman was stabbed 70 times, and authorities have obtained a search warrant for the home of his daughter.

The Associated Press is not reporting the name of that woman because she’s not been charged in connection with the death of 76-year-old Frank Crash, whose body was found by another daughter on Thursday after he didn’t show up at his auto salvage business.

The Sharon Herald (http://bit.ly/18IHyQi ) reports Mercer County authorities have also obtained search warrants for Crash’s home, garage and four vehicles he owned.

Crash was found dead about 9:30 a.m. at his home in Hempfield Township, Mercer County. That’s near Greenville, about 70 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Police searched the daughter’s residence because she was seen near Crash’s home the day before, and had several bandaged fingers.
